The informal, drop-in Fond du Lac Ukulele Club will meet at 1 p.m. Saturday, January 6, at the Fond du Lac Public Library. The club is a fun get-together for uke players of all ages and skill levels to learn songs, practice and share. The program is free; no registration required. The Idea Studio at the Fond du Lac Public Library will kick off the New Year with Makeathon! From 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, January 6, makers, hackers, doers, shakers of all disciplines age 13 and older are invited to gather and create. Makeathon! is free; no registration required. Crafters will learn how to felt special wool onto a bar of soap to create an all-in-one bathing delight at the 10 a.m. Saturday, January 20, free Craftermorning program at the Fond du Lac Public Library. The program is open to adults and teens age 13 and older. Registration is required and begins at 9:30 a.m.
