Having trouble getting books or music on your new device? The Fond du Lac Public Library’s free Book a Librarian service can help.
Through Book a Librarian, anyone can schedule a free, one-on-one individualized session with a reference librarian who will offer assistance on technology-related questions. Librarian are available to help with or research or genealogy questions as well.
Journeys: a health resource center and the Fond du Lac Public Library are excited to join a nationwide movement to make books accessible to everyone through a new Take a Book, Leave a Book exchange starting Jan 4, 2016.
Kids ages 2 to 6 and their parents are invited to I Got Rhythm, at 10 a.m. Saturday, January 23, at the Fond du Lac Public Library. Kids will explore songs, dancing and fun musical instruments, as well as books and stories. The program is free. No registration required.

Welcome the New Year in grand style by knocking off two resolutions in one visit to Chapter 52 Bookstore: get healthier and save money. All health and wellness books are half off at the bookstore January 9, 11 and 13.
The Fond du Lac Public Library will hold its annual Mega-Zine Sale January 2, 4 and 6 at Chapter 52 Bookstore. Bundles of magazines from 2013 will be sold for 50 cents each and will include such popular titles as Vanity Fair, Shape, Outdoor Life, Country Living, Sports Illustrated, Reader’s Digest and Wisconsin Sportsman.
Succulent plants seem to be everywhere these days, from party favors to home décor. Crafters at the Fond du Lac Public Library’s January 16 Crafternoon class will use air-dry clay and twine to make a hanging planter for a mini succulent. All supplies provided, including plant.
