Experience England on Oct 16
Veteran travelers Valerie and Wayne Graczyk will share their photos, memories and stories from their extensive travels at Experience England, at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, October 16, at the Fond du Lac Public Library. The program is free. No registration required.
The Graczyks will bring England’s rich history to life by revisiting such sites as Warwick Castle, where King Edward IV was imprisoned in the 15th Century; the 1,000-room manor house Hampton Court, where Henry VIII lived with his many wives; the mysterious Stonehenge; Shakespeare’s birthplace, Stratford Upon Avon; the British Museum, with the famous Rosetta Stone; the Tower of London (and its Crown Jewels); Buckingham Palace; and many more.
The Graczyks’ passion for travel materialized into a home-grown business, Someday Travel, formed in 2010 to lead groups to myriad destinations. Wayne Graczyk is a retired superintendent of schools. Valerie Graczyk is director of communications for the Congregation of Sisters of St. Agnes in Fond du Lac. She previously was travel coordinator for UW-Sheboygan for six years.
