Let the Peeping begin

They started as simple yellow Easter marshmallow chicks. Today, Peeps come in multiple shapes, sizes and colors, sold year-round and have morphed into the stuff of modern art.

Tweens – ages 10 to 13 – are invited to use these marshmallow creatures to create crazy, creative and funny diorama scenes in boxes at a free program from 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. Thursday, April 24, at the Fond du Lac Public Library. Peep-eating encouraged; no registration required.

The Peeps program is part of the new Tweentastic series held on the last Thursday of the month. Every month tweens gather for a fun time that includes a craft and snacks.
