WI Visual Artists at gallery in Sept

Members of the Wisconsin Visual Artists Northeast Chapter will exhibit their works in the Fond du Lac Public Library Langdon Divers Gallery from September 4 through October 1.

The eclectic mix of media on display, including oil painting, printmaking, photography, acrylic work, encaustic, mixed media and collage, will come from artists in a region that stretches from Rhinelander to Fond du Lac.

Founded in 1903, Wisconsin Visual Artists (WVA) – formerly Wisconsin Painters and Sculptors – is the oldest art organization in the state.

The public is invited to a reception at 4:30 p.m. Friday, September 19, held in conjunction with the downtown Fond du Lac Tour the Town Art Walk. Refreshments will be served.

For more information about WVA, a not-for-profit membership-based organization, contact northeast chapter chair Mel Kolstad at [email protected].

The library gallery is a showcase for local and regional artists. The space is curated by volunteer artist Susan Fiebig, who can be contacted at [email protected].
