Book a Librarian can help with new tech

Want to stay connected with friends and family on Facebook? Want to learn about Instagram? Have a new Kindle or smartphone and need help? Want to learn how to download free e-books and audiobooks?

The Fond du Lac Public Library’s free Book a Librarian service can help. Through Book a Librarian, anyone can schedule a free, one-on-one individualized session with a reference librarian who will offer assistance on technology-related questions. Librarians are available to help with or research or genealogy questions as well.

Schedule a 30-minute Book a Librarian session by calling the Reference Desk at (920) 322-3930 or stop by the desk on the second floor of the Main Library. Book a Librarian cannot provide medical, legal or business advice or opinions, and librarians cannot proofread documents or troubleshoot technological problems on your devices.

For more information, call the Reference Desk at (920) 322-3930.

Technology training

Does your library have any technology training for patrons?

Tech training

We don't currently have plans to offer tech classes; the one-on-one Book a Librarian sessions have replaced the large-group approach. Contact the Reference Desk at 920-322-3930 to inquire about your specific tech-training needs.
