New hours, new sales at Chapter 52 in Oct

The Fond du Lac Public Library’s used-books-and-more Chapter 52 Bookstore announces new hours and an additional open day, effective October 1:

  • Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays: 2-6 p.m.
  • Saturdays: 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

In addition, the shop will continue its popular Senior Citizen Sale every Wednesday: half off all books for shoppers age 55 and older (excludes adult coloring books). Other sales in October:

  • Saturday, October 15: Half off all craft and holiday books.
  • Saturday, October 29: Half off all teen and children’s books, and half off kids’ DVDs and CDs.

Chapter 52 Bookstore, located next to the downtown library at 52 Sheboygan St., sells used books, movies, music and magazines for all ages at deep discounts. Other items for sale include adult coloring books, colored markers and pencils, greeting cards and other bookish items. The shop accepts donations of used materials in good condition. Donations should be labeled as such and can be dropped off at the library’s checkout desk or in the drive-through book return bin.
