Game on! Teens party down in Feb

Teens in grades 6 through 12 have a lot of fun options at the Fond du Lac Public Library in February. All programs are free; no registration required.

At the Teen Game Party at 1 p.m. Saturday, February 18, teens will hang out, snack and play new and classic tabletop games, including Apples to Apples, Battleship and Ticket to Ride. Door prizes included.

The teen reading club, Pizza & Pages, is set for 6:30 p.m. Wednesday, February 15, with a tasty discussion of Artemis Fowl, by Eoin Colfer, who describes his modern classic as "Die Hard with fairies.” Teens will munch pizza, talk about the book and play a find-the-gold-coin scavenger hunt. Copies of Artemis Fowl are available for checkout now at the downtown library’s Main Desk.

Teens, also, are invited to the Library Council meeting at 1 p.m. Sunday, February 12. Council members design programs, choose prizes, volunteer for special events and more. With snacks. The council motto: Be heard. Be fed. Be happy.
