We found a Hat by Jon Klassen

We are delighted to say that Caldecott Medalist Jon Klassen has written his third book in what is known as "The Hat Series."As witty and simple as the previous two books, this next title can be enjoyed without reading the others. . . but don't miss out! Read the others, too. First came I Want My Hat Back, followed by This is Not My Hat.

In this third book, we follow two turtles plodding their way through the desert. When they come across a tall white hat, they both try it on. The trouble begins because they both love the hat and they both look good in the hat (that's what they both think, anyway!).

With only one white hat and two turtles, they decide to leave it behind and forget about it. It's only fair, right? One of the turtles seems to be happy with their decision and heads off again through the desert, but the other turtle can't help looking longingly back toward the hat. Will he leave it? Or will he try and go back for it? You'll have to read it to find out!

Come in and we'll help you find it on the shelf. We'd love to hear what you think of it after you read it, too!
