Ukulele Club meets May 6

Uke instructor and aficionado Stan Kocos will lead the Fond du Lac Ukulele Club at 1 p.m. Saturday, May 6, at the Fond du Lac Public Library.

The club will be a fun get-together for uke players of all ages and skill levels to learn songs, practice and share. The program is free; no registration required. Players are encouraged to bring their own instruments. There will be a limited number of ukes available to borrow during the meeting.

Kocos and his wife, Marty Ison-Kocos, form a music duo that donates the proceeds of their area performances to local charities. Stan is the former executive director of the Boys & Girls Club of Fond du Lac and has many years of experience as a guitar and music theory instructor.
