'Lovely Trees' exhibit Jun 7-Jul 5

As spring turns to summer, the Fond du Lac Public Library’s Langdon Divers Gallery will celebrate the greening of the landscape with Lovely Trees, a themed exhibit, June 7 to July 5. The show, organized by gallery curator Mel Kolstad, is the result of a public call to art.

More than 40 artists submitted pieces in a variety of media.

The public is invited to a reception 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, June 8; refreshments will be served. No registration required.

“We are so fortunate to live in an area with an abundance of majestic trees and forests,” said Kolstad. “This exhibit interprets our natural beauty in such interesting ways. I was delighted with the response and variety.”

Information about the Langdon Divers Gallery is available at facebook.com/langdondivers. Inquiries should be directed to Kolstad at mel@kolstad.net.
