Summer Reading @ the Library winds down Aug. 12

Summer Reading @ the Library ends on Saturday, August 12, which is the last day that participating kids, teens and adults can turn in their completed reading cards for rewards at the Fond du Lac Public Library.

Kids who turn in all four reading cards by August 12 can pick out a free, new book. Teens’ completed cards are entered into grand prize drawings. Adults’ completed cards are entered into weekly prize drawings and a grand prize drawing at the end of the program.

Celebrating the program’s end, teens in grades 6-12 are invited to the teen Summer Wrap-up Pizza Party at 1 p.m. Saturday, August 12, at the library. Teens will blind-taste-test local pizzas and crown the 2017 winner. Grand prizes for summer reading will be pulled, and all attendees will be eligible for a bevy of door prizes. The pizza party is free; no registration required.
