Felted soap craft Jan 20

What’s a cross between a washcloth and a bar of soap? Felted soap. Crafters will learn how to felt special wool onto a bar of soap to create an all-in-one bathing delight at the 10 a.m. Saturday, January 20, free Craftermorning program at the Fond du Lac Public Library. The program is open to adults and teens age 13 and older. Registration is required and begins at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, January 6, at fdlpl.org, click Calendar.

All supplies are provided, but persons with sensitive skin must provide their own new bar of soap.

Craftermorning is the continuation – just earlier in the day – of the library’s 5-year-old Crafternoon program; all programs will take place on the third Saturday of the month at 10 a.m. Registration for Craftermornings is required and begins at 9:30 a.m. two weeks before each program online at fdlpl.org, click Calendar. Upcoming Craftermornings:

  • February 17: Rustic Hand-painted Signs
  • March 17: Easter Chick Place Holders
  • April 21: Paper Boxes Aplenty
  • May 19: Tissue Paper Bouquet
