February kids’ events at FDL Library

Don’t let cabin fever get the best of you: bring the kids to the Fond du Lac Public Library, where there are plenty of free events for kids in February. All programs are free. For all, children under 8 must be accompanied by an adult:

  • Half-Day Party. 1-3:30 p.m. Friday, February 2. Kids ages 6-12 and their families. Half day at school? Party at the library! Play bingo, eat snacks and watch Despicable Me 3. No registration required.
  • Playdate at the Library. Every Monday 9:30-11:30 a.m. For young children and caregivers. Just drop in to have fun with toys and activities. No registration.
  • Storytimes; no registration required:
    • Toddler: Ages 2 & younger. 9:30 a.m. Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.
    • Preschool: Ages 3-5. 10:30 a.m. Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
    • Evening: All ages. 5:30 p.m. Wednesdays.
  • Liquid Science. 6-7 p.m. Thursday, February 22. For kids ages 8-12. Make your own lava lamp and soap-powered cardboard boat. Registration required and will begin at 9 a.m. Monday, February 12, at fdlpl.org, click Calendar; in person at the Children’s Desk; or by calling (920) 322-3940.
  • Lost in Space. 4-5 p.m. Tuesday, February 27. For kids ages 8-12. Our space shuttle has crash-landed! We have to build shelters, survive on rations and avoid space madness. With snacks and lots of fun. No registration required.
