It’s all about chocolate Mar 20

Thank you, Mexico. Without you, we’d be chocolate-deprived. Mexican native and Fond du Lac Public Library staff member Gabriela Langholff will celebrate her country’s sweetest contribution at the 6 p.m. Tuesday, March 20, Flavors of the World program in the Idea Studio demonstration kitchen. The program is free and open to adults and teens age13 and older. Registration is required and

begins at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, March 6, at fdlpl.org, click Calendar.

Langholff will present the history, lore and use of wonderful chocolate and will demonstrate how to make a dish or two with chocolate as a featured ingredient. Recipes will be handed out.

Flavors of the World takes place every third Tuesday of the month in the library’s Idea Studio. Programs coming up:

  • April 17: Coffee, presented by Josh Cowles of the library
  • May 15: Oregano, presented by Pedro Arellano

The Idea Studio is the library’s makerspace, a permanent do-it-yourself zone in the lower level with a demonstration kitchen, equipment to use for free and DIY programming. For more information, visit www.fdlpl.org/ideastudio.
