Can I fax something from the library?


Yes, there is a public fax machine in the Main Library near the Help Desk. The cost is $1.75 for the first page and $1 for each additional page. International fax rates vary. A credit or debit card is required, or prepaid fax cards can be purchased at the Main Desk. The library cannot receive public faxes.

Does the library have a scanner?


The library has computer equipped with scanner and photo editing software. It’s located on the second floor among the internet computers and available on a first-come, first-served basis.

How much does it cost to print? To photocopy?


Printing from the internet or microfilm computers is 15 cents per black and white page and 35 per color page. Photocopying prices are the same. Photocopiers on both floors have letter (8 ½ x 11), legal (8 1/2 x 14) and ledger (11 x 17) sized paper. Double-sided copies are 15 cents (B&W) or 35 cents (color) per side.

How do I add money to my card?


You add money to your account in order to print from the library's internet computers. Money is added at the Internet Print Payment Machine located on the second floor next to the copy machine.

To add money to your account using cash:

  • Select "Deposit to My Account" and scan the card's barcode or enter the library card number using the keyboard.
  • Click "Next."
  • Click on the picture of the safe next to "Make a Deposit."
  • Deposit money into the vending device to the left of the payment machine. It will accept nickels, dimes, quarters and a $1 or $5 bill.
  • When you have finished depositing money, click "OK" on the payment machine.
  • A window appears titled "Make Deposit for [Your Name]."
  • You can add as much or as little of the money you deposited to your account by changing the highlighted "Amount to Deposit" entry.
  • When you are satisfied with the amount, click "Make Deposit."
  • The final screen is titled "Account Information for [Your Name]" and shows your current balance.
  • Click "OK."

Any money put into the vending device that is not added to your account will be dispensed in the coin return. Any money that is not used in your current session will remain on your account for future use.

To add money to your account using credit or debit card:

  • Go to the library website,
  • Click on "My Account" in the upper right.
  • Enter your library card number and PIN.
  • Click on "Log In."
  • Click on "Click here to pay fine" in the status window on the right side of the screen.
  • Enter your library card number and PIN.
  • Click on "Submit."
  • Click on "Access Account(s)" in the Transactions Options screen.
  • Click on "Add Funds to AAM Deposit Account" in the Available Account(s) screen.
  • Enter the amount you wish to add in the "Amount to pay" box in the Credit Card screen.
  • Click on "Submit."
  • Click on the picture of the card you wish to use.
  • Enter the required information and follow the prompts to complete your transaction.
