No one sees the world exactly the way you do. Share your unique point of view through the 10th-annual Fond du Lac Teen Photo Contest.
Area teens are invited to submit photos in three categories:
- Wildlife: Share a photo of your pet(s) or animals you encounter in nature
- Black & White: Set the mood with a beautiful black & white image
- Anything Goes: Share with us any photo you have taken that you feel is award-worthy!
The photographer who submits the photo judged best overall will win a grand prize $250 Visa gift card. Honorable mention awards will be given for the winners of each category.
The contest is open to teens who attend school in Fond du Lac County in grades six through 12.
Deadline to enter is April 5, 2024, after which the library will gather a VIP panel to judge entries.
Entries will be displayed in the library’s Langdon Divers Gallery in May.
Full contest rules and guidelines are available here or by calling (920) 322-3940.

Join us at 4:30 PM on the third Tuesday of each month for an activity that explores the intersections between science, technology, engineering, art, and math. Each month we'll have a different art or craft project. We provide the supplies, you provide the imagination! Don't be intimidated - we're basically hanging out and making stuff. Can't make it? Check out the Teen Space after the event for instructions on how to do this month's project for yourself! Geared for those in grades 6-12 - younger folks will probably struggle with the difficulty level. Registration is generally not necessary unless supplies are very limited.
Tuesday, March 19 @ 4:30 PM - Window Clings
Tuesday, April 16 @ 4:30 PM - Personalized Picture Frames
Tuesday, May 21 @ 4:30 PM - Decorated Tote Bags

Calling all teen anime enthusiasts! Join us from 4:30-5:30 p.m. on the first Tuesday of each month to watch a couple episodes of an anime we choose (and eat snacks). Cosplay is always welcome! Geared toward middle school and high school students. We'll pick an anime to watch by consensus, so you're not stuck watching something you don't like - and if we don't get to your suggestion, we'll save it for next month.
