For the first time in nearly a decade, Fond du Lac artist Nina Schmidt brings her work to the Langdon Divers Community Gallery at the Fond du Lac Public Library.

Her new exhibit, titled “Ripples from Pebbles: A Retrospective of Beautiful Moments Found in Simple Places,” may be viewed from Wednesday, Sept. 6 to Tuesday, Oct. 3.

“It's been nearly nine years since Nina has shown her work in the Langdon Divers Gallery, and I'm so glad she's showing again,” said Mel Kolstad, volunteer curator of the Langdon Divers Community Gallery. “This is a great mixture of new and older works, and I think patrons will enjoy this show."

The community is invited to join her at a reception Thursday, Sept. 14 from 5:30 to 7 p.m. in the gallery.

The Langdon Divers Community Gallery is open seven days a week, whenever the Fond du Lac Public Library is open at 32 Sheboygan St. The gallery may be found off the atrium at the south entrance to the Main Library.
