Persons with early to mid-stage Alzheimer’s disease or other types of dementia, their caregivers and family members are invited to monthly Alzheimer’s Association Memory Cafés held at 1 p.m. the fourth Thursday of the month at the Fond du Lac Public Library. The themed programs are free; no registration required. Programs coming up:

  • Jul 26: State fair. Share memories of food, games and other delights at the state fair.
  • Aug 23: Lighthouses and summer fun. Beautiful photos of lighthouses.
  • Sep 27: Apple tasting. As delicious as it sounds.
  • Oct 25: Halloween stories, pranks, costumes and fall colors celebrated.
  • Nov 29: Music and painting. Come paint with us. We’ll have all the supplies and plenty of ideas.
  • Dec 27: Snowman craft. Create snowmen from socks. All supplies provided.
