The Fond du Lac Public Library’s Idea Studio makerspace hours: 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Friday and noon to 4 p.m. Saturday. More information is available at www.fdlpl.org/ideastudio or by calling (920) 322-3946. Programs for March:
- Ukulele Club, 1 p.m. Saturday, March 2, at the Fond du Lac Public Library, 32 Sheboygan St. A fun, all-ages gathering for ukulele players of all skill levels to learn songs, practice and share. BYO instrument; a limited number of loaners at the meeting. Free. No registration.
- Registration starts February 27: Custom Tote Bags, 6 p.m. Wednesdays March 13 and March 20, at the Fond du Lac Public Library Idea Studio, 32 Sheboygan St. For adults and teens 13 and older. A two-part class using the Idea Studio sewing machines and serger. Learn to make a tote bag of your own design and specifications. Must provide own fabric and notions; information and registration at fdlpl.org, click “calendar.”
- Registration starts March 4: Laser-engraved Picture Frame, 6 p.m. Monday, March 18, at the Fond du Lac Public Library Idea Studio, 32 Sheboygan St. Must be 18 or older. Use the laser cutter to make a custom picture frame. Registration starts at 9:30 a.m. Monday, March 4, at fdlpl.org, click “calendar.”
- Registration starts March 5: Carvey Inlay Key Chain, 6 p.m. Tuesdays, March 19 and March 26, at the Fond du Lac Public Library Idea Studio, 32 Sheboygan St. For adults and teens 13 and older. Learn the Carvey CNC cutter and use it to make a custom key chain. Registration starts at 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, March 5, at fdlpl.org, click “calendar.”
- Registration starts March 13: Create Your Own Lithophane, 6 p.m. Wednesday, March 27, at the Fond du Lac Public Library Idea Studio, 32 Sheboygan St. For adults and teens 13 and older. Learn how to turn a photo into a 3-D object called a lithophane. Registration begins at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, March 13, at fdlpl.org, click “calendar.”
