The Fond du Lac Public Library is adding hours at two of its locations starting in October, including Sunday hours returning to the main library.

Beginning Thursday, October 1, the downtown location will be open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sundays from noon to 4 p.m. 

The popular Chapter 52 Bookstore will reopen Saturday, October 3. Chapter 52 is located at 52 Sheboygan St., next door to the downtown Library and all proceeds from the bookstore support library programming. The shop sells used books, movies, magazines and music at bargain prices. 

Chapter 52 is open Monday through Wednesday from 2 to 6 p.m. and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.  Follow the Library on Facebook for special sale information and author events. Gently used books, movies and magazines for the bookstore may be dropped off at the main library during regular business hours.

The FDLPL Express branch at 1125 E. Johnson St. near Festival Foods is also open on weekends. The hours are Monday through Friday from 2 to 6 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
