Adult poetry contest will give residents chance to shine

Do you have a great poem in you? Adult residents of Fond du Lac County are invited to enter the Fond du Lac Public Library Poetry Contest.
Enter a single poem to be judged in one of three categories: Haiku, Verse or Other (including blackout poetry). Entries must be original works, and submissions of more than one poem per person will be disqualified.
The contest begins Thursday, April 1 and continues through the end of the month. A winner will be selected by a jury from the entries in each category and will be contacted via email or phone call to pick up their prize.
To enter the contest, email a poem to reference@fdlpl.org or drop off the poem at the Main Library’s reference desk. Entries must include your poem submission, name, phone number and/or email address.
