Book club kits at the library

One of the many collections we have at the library is the Book Club Kit collection. We have 132 kits with a variety of fiction and nonfiction titles, from thrillers to religious fiction to memoirs to science.
Every year we refresh the collection by removing some kits that aren’t being checked out anymore and adding kits with newer titles that book clubs are interested in discussing. Each kit includes 10 copies of the book (1 copy is large print if the title is available that way) plus a handout with discussion questions.
This year we added 10 new kits to the collection. They’re in the catalog and can be placed on hold, but we’re still processing them (putting on the stickers, getting together the discussion questions, etc.). They’ll be ready soon!

For those who haven’t checked out a kit before, we have one copy of each book that’s currently checked in on display on the second floor. Just grab that copy and take it to the checkout desk and the person at the desk will get the rest of the kit for you.
