Discover your next hobby, or simply enjoy an evening of fun, as the Fond du Lac Public Library offers multiple arts and crafts programs for adults during February.
- Each Thursday this month, starting Feb. 3, learn how to knit with the Beginning Knitting Series. Whether you’re new to knitting or just need some brushing up, this four-week class will get you going with the basics. Masks are required. Register at calendar.fdlpl.org.
- Then, on Monday, Feb. 7, join one of the library’s most popular adult programs: the Evening Craft Class. The program, which begins at 6 p.m. in the McLane Room, gets in the spirit of Sturgeon Spectacular as it invites participants to create their own paper ice shanty. All supplies are provided; registration required at calendar.fdlpl.org. Participants must wear masks.
- Bad Art Night returns Monday, Feb. 14 at 6 p.m., when painters are asked to bring their enthusiasm for art, but not necessarily a talent for it. We’ll celebrate the mediocre, the tacky, and the campy while featuring a new style of tasteless art. All materials provided; register at calendar.fdlpl.org. Masks required.
