Learn about 3-D printing, its role in printmaking with the Press Club
Join the Fond du Lac Press Club (for printmakers) to explore the ways that 3-D printing has enriched the art of printmaking during an upcoming program at the Fond du Lac Public Library.
On Wednesday, Feb. 23 at 6 p.m., join the library’s Idea Studio to learn more about printmaking and 3-D printing via Zoom (meeting link may be found at online calendar); no registration required.
The Press Club (for printmakers) historically meets in the Fond du Lac Public Library Idea Studio to explore printing techniques and hear from guest speakers. No experience necessary for this free program. The program is designed for adults and teens age 13 and older; younger children are allowed with a parent or caregiver when the Press Club meets in-person.
During the month of February, the Idea Studio also invites the community to become badged on its equipment. Many pieces of equipment in the Idea Studio require a person to be badged before using it, such as the 3D Printer, the recording studio, serger and X-Carve CNC machine.
Check the online calendar in February for new badging sessions on these items.
For additional training opportunities, make an appointment with the Idea Studio by emailing staff at ideastaff@fdlpl.org.
