June is Audiobook month
by Debbie Rosenberg
I used to think that I would never listen to audiobooks. I told myself "I love regular books, and how could an audiobook ever compare!" Then, life got busy. I really started to enjoy audiobooks when I started listening to them while traveling, whether a family trip, taking a child to college, or just heading out of town to visit family. Then I discovered the ability to listen to a book while doing chores such as washing dishes. Now, I can multitask! I've found some favorite voice actors and the joy of listening to a whole cast. We have audiobooks on CD, Playaways (one book on an MP3 player) or you can use the app "Libby by OverDrive" to access eaudiobooks on your phone. Why not try a book or two yourself?
