I was browsing through the August calendar looking for ideas for a blog and saw that August 10 is National Spoil Your Dog Day. Anyone who knows me knows how much I love dogs, and how spoiled my yellow labrador is. I will jokingly add that she has my husband and I very well trained. All kidding aside, it should really be the other way around. Dog ownership, as well as any pet ownership, is a serious undertaking. If you are thinking of adding a pup to your family and are not quite sure what to do to get started, the library has lots of books, and even some DVDs, on how to train your new four legged friend, and to give them their best life ever..
