Enjoy art created by local youth during the Youth Art Month exhibit at Langdon Gallery
Art created by students at Fond du Lac’s elementary schools will be the feature of the March Langdon Divers Community Gallery exhibit at the Fond du Lac Public Library. The pieces were created in honor of Youth Art Month.
Elementary art teachers from the Fond du Lac School District have chosen more than 200 pieces of student artwork to display in collaboration with the Fond du Lac Public Library at two locations. This work showcases the creativity and dedication of elementary students from all nine Fond du Lac School District elementary schools.
The FdLPL Express Branch, located near Festival Foods on Fond du Lac’s east side, will have work on display from Feb. 24 to April 11, and the Langdon Divers Gallery (located at the main branch of the Fond du Lac Public Library) will have work on display from March 2 to April 5.
A public reception at the Langdon Divers Gallery will be held Thursday March 9 from 6 to 8 p.m.
Meanwhile, middle and high school art will be displayed throughout the first floor of the main library as well.
The Langdon Divers Community Gallery is open seven days a week, whenever the Fond du Lac Public Library is open at 32 Sheboygan St. The gallery may be found off the atrium at the south entrance to the Main Library.
