Local authors including Jerry Apps will discuss critical thinking June 22 at FDLPL
Hear from Jerry Apps and Natasha Kassulke, authors of “Planting an Idea: Creative and Critical Thinking About Environmental Issues,” on Thursday, June 22 at 6 p.m. at the Fond du Lac Public Library.
Apps and Kassulke will discuss how to use facts to get at the truth of environmental issues. “Planting an Idea” is part-guidebook for better critical and creative thinking and part-overview of the environmental challenges that face the planet today. It is designed to help readers examine and develop opinions on a variety of environmental issues, based on substance and not mere emotion.
Registration opens June 8 at calendar.fdlpl.org and remains open until the event or until registration is full. Register either to attend in-person at the library to view the Zoom broadcast on the library’s big screen in the McLane Room, or register to attend remotely by logging into the Zoom broadcast on your own.
Those attending remotely will be emailed the link the day before the event.
