Sooner or later, everyone must face grief and end-of-life challenges. Two programs planned at the Fond du Lac Public Library during October will help prepare attendees for those big changes.

First, on Tuesday, Oct. 1 from 5:30 to 7 p.m. in the McLane Room, join Death Cafe. Enjoy a beverage, eat a snack, and discuss death and dying with others. The goal is to support each other in normalizing talk about death; this is not a support group. To participate, register at calendar.fdlpl.org.

Then, register for a seven-session course presented by UW-Extension called Planning Ahead. From Oct. 2 to Nov. 13 at 10 a.m. in the McLane Room, a presenter will guide you through topics such as estate planning, end-of-life choices, and grief. Register at calendar.fdlpl.org.
