‘Christmas Off the Beaten Path’ at bookstore Dec 7

Local author Ronnell Kay Gibson will sell and sign copies of the new short-story anthology, “Christmas Fiction Off the Beaten Path,” 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, December 7, at Chapter 52 Bookstore, 52 Sheboygan St.

The collection – Gibson’s story is one of six – is a mix of inspirational Christmas tales that look beyond the expected, traditional and tried-and-true. Gibson specializes in young adult contemporary fiction “with a sprinkling of the miraculous,” she said. The author event is free; no registration required.

Chapter 52 Bookstore is located next door to the Main Library downtown. The shop sells used books, movies, magazines and music at bargain prices.
