Love arts and crafts? Sign up for any of a series of creative programs planned during October at the Fond du Lac Public Library.

Join library staff Monday, Oct. 2 at 6 p.m. in the McLane Room for Bad Art Night as guests create Palette Plaques.No artistic experience necessary; the library will provide all materials. Register now at calendar.fdlpl.org.

Interested in learning to knit, or could use a refresher? Join the library’s Beginning Knitting Series, held Tuesdays from Oct. 3-24 at 10 a.m. in the Shared Office Space. This four-week class will get you going with the basics of knitting by completing a project of their choosing. Register now at calendar.fdlpl.org.

Then, on Monday, Oct. 9 at 6 p.m. in the McLane Room, create a Festive Fall Banner during Evening Craft Class. All supplies will be provided. Register now at calendar.fdlpl.org.

Ready to bring your plants indoors? Dress them up with a Clay Plant Poke you can create during Good-Natured Crafts. This program will be held Tuesday, Oct. 24 at 6 p.m. in the Idea Studio; registration begins Oct 10 at calendar.fdlpl.org. All supplies will be provided. 

Know an adult who loves to craft but needs to keep it simple? The newest craft program at the Fond du Lac Public Library will be perfect for them. Join library staff on Halloween (Tuesday, Oct. 31) at 10 a.m. in the Idea Studio for Super Simple Crafts. Each month, library staff walk participants through an extremely easy craft appropriate for almost any skill or ability level. All supplies will be provided.
