Discover your next hobby, or simply enjoy an evening of fun, as the Fond du Lac Public Library offers multiple arts and crafts programs for adults during March.

  • Bad Art Night returns Monday, March 7 at 6 p.m., when painters are asked to bring their enthusiasm for art, but not necessarily a talent for it. We’ll celebrate the mediocre, the tacky, and the campy while featuring a new style of tasteless art. This month, join the library as we take thrift store wares and make them wonderful (or worse, if the participant prefers). All materials provided; register at calendar.fdlpl.org. Masks required.
  • Then, on Monday, March 14, join one of the library’s most popular adult programs: the Evening Craft Class. The program, which begins at 6 p.m. in the McLane Room, invites participants to create their own pincushion storage jars. All supplies are provided; registration required at calendar.fdlpl.org; limited space available. Participants must wear masks.
  • The Fond du Lac Public Library’s newest craft program, Good-Natured Crafts, debuts Tuesday, March 29 at 6 p.m. in the Idea Studio. Join us as we make Botanical Wax Sachets, which are a beautiful and natural way to add fragrance to your home. All supplies will be provided. Masks will be required. Register at calendar.fdlpl.org; space will be limited.
