Create your own art at home with two take-home projects from FDLPL
Use your artistic talents to create décor for yourself or others with two take-home projects that will be provided by Fond du Lac Public Library in December.
Starting Dec. 1, pick up a packet of materials to create a “Portrait of a Pandemic” as a part of this current-day community history project.
Create a unique collage portrait using books and magazines provided by the library. Completed projects may be shared with the library to be added to our Portraits From a Pandemic wall, and to an anthology that will reside in our local history collection.
The project will be available throughout the month.
Then, starting Dec. 21, stop by Fond du Lac Public Library to pick up a take-n-make project that will create a fun, fluffy addition to your holiday village or your home’s décor: a paper holiday house.
Supplies are limited; one kit per family.
Take-home projects may be picked up curbside on weekdays or in-person on weekends at Fond du Lac Public Library.
Fond du Lac Public Library operates two locations: the Main Library at 32 Sheboygan St. in downtown Fond du Lac, and FDLPL Express at 1132 E. Johnson St. near Festival Foods.
At this time, the main library is open for curbside service only on weekdays, and in-person on weekends. Computer use is available by appointment on weekends.
