Enjoy art created by local youth during the Youth Art Month exhibit at Langdon Gallery
Art created by students at Fond du Lac’s elementary schools will be the feature of the March Langdon Divers Community Gallery exhibit at the Fond du Lac Public Library. The pieces were created in honor of Youth Art Month.
Enjoy rainbow dot paintings inspired by Aboriginal art from Australia, self-portraits, a ceramic dragon head, and more. Their work will be on display at the gallery from March 2 to April 5. An artist reception is planned for Thursday, March 10 from 5:30 to 7 p.m. in the Langdon Divers Gallery. Masks will be required at the reception.
Additional pieces of art will be available to be viewed at the library’s FDLPL Express location near Festival Foods on Fond du Lac’s east side. In all, more than 150 artworks from Fond du Lac's elementary schools can be seen at the Express location and Langdon Divers Gallery in the Fond du Lac Public Library.
The Langdon Divers Community Gallery is open seven days a week, whenever the Fond du Lac Public Library is open at 32 Sheboygan St. The gallery may be found off the atrium at the south entrance to the Main Library.
