The Fond du Lac Artists’ Association will hold its annual membership show from Nov. 6 to Dec. 3 at the Fond du Lac Public Library’s Langdon Divers Gallery. A reception and critique will be held in the gallery 5:30-7:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 14. The public is invited, and refreshments will be served.

The association’s Artist of the Year is long-time member Mary Eiring, who paints with acrylics and has done numerous landscape paintings, particularly of the beautiful views on golf courses.

Members’ works will be judged by a pair of Sheboygan artists, Patty Aker and Kay Jelinek, and prizes will be awarded. Visitors are invited to vote for their favorite artwork to determine the People’s Choice award.

The nonprofit artists’ association was formed in 1968 with the mission of encouraging creative growth of area artists and youth and promoting community awareness of local visual artists. Members work in a wide range of media.
