The Fond du Lac Public Library has plenty of fun in store for the Saturday, September 8, Fondue Fest. There will be something to do for all ages, and for more than one species:
- Doggy Oasis, 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. outdoors at Sheboygan and Portland streets. A happy place, away from the hubbub, where furry friends and their owners are top dog. Includes free dog treats, water, a cool bow tie and photo booth. Just drop in; no registration required.
- Origami, noon to 4 p.m. inside at the Idea Studio. Take a break, rest your feet and mind by following simple directions to make a few origami creations. All supplies provided. Free. Just drop in; no registration required. Children under 13 must be accompanied by an adult.
- Cookbook Sale, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Chapter 52 Bookstore, 52 Sheboygan St. Half off the huge selection of cookbooks. While there, check out the shop’s used books, movies, music and magazines.
