Love arts and crafts? Try these events planned during January at FDLPL

Get your new year off to a crafty start with two events planned at the Fond du Lac Public Library.

On Monday, Jan. 2, Bad Art Night returns. Celebrate the mediocre, the tacky, and the campy as you create Brilliant Baskets.

No artistic experience (or ability) necessary; the library will provide all of the materials. Register at calendar.fdlpl.org; space will be limited.

Then, Good-Natured Crafts returns after its holiday break on Tuesday, Jan. 24 at 6 p.m. in the Idea Studio. Participants can create a Cardboard Loom Weaving Mug Rug.
