Quilling is a centuries-old craft that involves rolling narrow strips of paper and arranging the rolls to make a design. Learn the simple skill and make beautiful gift tags at the 10 a.m. Saturday, November 17, Craftermorning class in the Fond du Lac Public Library’s Idea Studio. The class is free. Registration is required and begins at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, November 3, at the Calendar.

The class will be taught by library staffer Monica Tagliapietra, who first learned to quill as a young girl and recently rediscovered its relaxing and satisfying benefits.

The final library Craftermorning program of the year will take place on December 8, due to the holidays, when crafters will make book page Christmas trees. Registration for that program will begin at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, November 24.
