  • Letters to Santa, Nov. 1-Dec. 4, at the Fond du Lac Public Library, 32 Sheboygan St. Children who drop off letters to Santa at the Main Library Children’s Room by 3 p.m. Dec. 4 will get a personalized reply from Santa mailed to their homes before Christmas. Pick up a form letter or write your own. Letters to Santa is a free program of the FDL School District Recreation Department.
  • Half-Day Party, 1-1:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 1, at the Fond du Lac Public Library, 32 Sheboygan St. Half day at school? Come hang out with us. Play bingo and watch “Toy Story 4” (G). With snacks. For kids in grades K-8 and their families. Free. No registration.
  • Toddler Storytimes, 9:30 a.m. Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays at the Fond du Lac Public Library, 32 Sheboygan St. For ages 2 and under. Twenty minutes of Storytime followed by 20 minutes of play in the Storytime Room. Free. No registration.
  • Preschool Storytimes, 10:30 a.m. Tuesdays and Wednesdays at the Fond du Lac Public Library, 32 Sheboygan St. For ages 3-5. Thirty minutes of fun books, songs and more. Free. No registration.
  • E-Gaming, 2-3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 9, at the Fond du Lac Public Library, 32 Sheboygan St. For teens in grades 6-12. Love e-gaming? No clue what e-gaming is? Wherever you fall, this is the event for you. Experts will shed some light on the e-gaming phenomenon. We’ll discuss ways the library can join in the process. And we’ll get in some hands-on gaming. Free. No registration.
  • Kids Create, 6-7:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 14, at the Fond du Lac Public Library, 32 Sheboygan St. Screen-free fun for the whole family. Drop in to create a paper turkey craft (see photo). Free. No registration.
  • Fort Night, 5:30-7:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 15, at the Fond du Lac Public Library, 32 Sheboygan St. You bring the blankets, we will provide the snacks. Check in at 5:30 pm and prepare for after-hours fun. Build blanket forts around the library, play games and snack on treats. For school-age friends and their families. Kids must be accompanied by an adult. Free. No registration.
  • Silent Library, 2-3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 16, at the Fond du Lac Public Library, 32 Sheboygan St. For teens in grades 6-12. Based on a Japanese game show, we’ll challenge teens to complete randomly drawn, bizarre tasks while remaining completely silent – they are in a library after all. Free. No registration.
  • Stories and Sculptures, 10-11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 18, at the Fond du Lac Public Library, 32 Sheboygan St. Got a case of the Mondays? Create hands-on fun for your kiddos. Inspired by picture books, we’ll have Play-Doh sculpting activity stations. Great for toddlers and preschoolers. Free. No registration; drop in any time during the hour.

  • Family Lego Night, 6-7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 26, at the Fond du Lac Public Library, 32 Sheboygan St. A casual evening of Lego fun. We will have regular Legos and Duplos for younger kids. Free. No registration.
