Get into a cheerful spring spirit as the Fond du Lac Public Library offers multiple arts and crafts programs for adults during May.

Bad Art Night returns Monday, May 2 at 6 p.m., when painters are asked to bring their enthusiasm for art, but not necessarily a talent for it. We’ll celebrate the mediocre, the tacky, and the campy while featuring a new style of tasteless art. This month, participants will participate in Free Form Fun. All materials provided; register at calendar.fdlpl.org.

Then, on Monday, May 9, join one of the library’s most popular adult programs: the Evening Craft Class. The program, which begins at 6 p.m. in the McLane Room, will feature a mystery craft that will celebrate the spring season. All supplies are provided; registration required at calendar.fdlpl.org; limited space available.

The Fond du Lac Public Library’s newest craft program, Good-Natured Crafts, returns Tuesday, May 17 at 6 p.m. in the Idea Studio. Join us as we make Clay Garden Markers, just in time for spring planting season. These eco-friendly markers will be a beautiful way to identify the herbs and vegetables you’ve planted as they sprout. All supplies will be provided. Register at calendar.fdlpl.org; space will be limited.
