Ready to tear into some great activities and fun books? Join the Fond du Lac Public Library’s youth services department for DiNovember! All month long, youth may stop into the library to devour new activities:

  • Adopt a Dinosaur (Nov. 1-6): Come pick up a dino friend to adopt and then take pictures with it around town. Share your photos with us, just like Cronos did!
  • Cronos guessing game (Nov. 1-6): Cronos has traveled all over the world, can you guess where he’s been?
  • Drawing Lesson with Katie (Nov. 15 at 4 p.m.): Learn how to draw your favorite dinosaurs! To participate, register at calendar.fdlpl.org
  • Dino Scavenger Hunt (all month long): Photography not your thing? See if you can puzzle out the clues to find your prize.
  • Guessing jar (all month long): Want to take a guess at how many dinosaur bones are in the jar? Winner gets a 48-piece T-rex floor puzzle.

Other events also are planned at the Fond du Lac Public Library during November. These include:

  • Paint-Along (Nov. 20 at 2 p.m.): Try your hand at painting as Miss Katie leads you in creating a work of art! Recommended for ages 5 and up. Registration required; registration opens Monday, Nov. 1 at 9 a.m. Space is limited; register at calendar.fdlpl.org
  • Teen Book Boxes and Youth Book Bags: Sign up from Nov. 1 to 7 at calendar.fdlpl.org each month for this subscription-style service to receive a free book; pick up the boxes Nov. 14 to 20.
  • Kits of the Week: Stop by starting Sunday of each week to pick up a new Kit of the Week! Supplies are limited; one kit per child.

To attend an event at the Fond du Lac Public Library, masks are required for all individuals over the age of 2.
