Through the month of August, the FDL Public Library's Langdon Divers Gallery will feature a virtual exhibit of the library’s sixth annual Teen Photo Contest on the gallery’s Facebook page, facebook.com/langdondivers.

Included in the exhibit are all 119 entries submitted by teens across the county as well as the four winners. Judges awarded the grand prize – a $250 gift card – to Kristen Heap for her dramatic shot of winter waves splashing on an icy shore, pictured at left.

The winners – grand prize plus one winner in each of the three categories – are:

  • Grand prize (pictured at left): Kristen Heap, 14, grade 9, Fond du Lac High School
  • Anything Goes: Alix Jahnke, 12, grade 7, Faith Lutheran School
  • Street: Briah Krueger, 13, grade 6, homeschool
  • Weather: Ayden Fowler, 15, grade 9, Horace Mann High School

The four winners received their photographs professionally framed, courtesy Gallery & Frame Shop. Contest judges were Lauren Herlache of Signarama and professional photographers Casey French and Casey Fiebig.
