Write a mini-masterpiece inspired by tiny art for a chance to win at the Fond du Lac Public Library
Love to write? Make a mini-masterpiece, inspired by a mini-masterpiece, for the Fond du Lac Public Library’s new Tiny Writing Contest.
Writers ages 6 through adult are invited to submit their short writing selection by May 31 before 6 p.m. for a chance to win.
To participate, visit the Fond du Lac Public Library’s Langdon Divers Community Gallery and view the Tiny Art Contest entries there. Select a piece that inspires you and write a submission for the contest.
All entries must be 300 words or fewer. They may be any form of written word: short stories, poems, song lyrics, etc.
Physical submissions must include the author's name, email and/or phone, age category and title in order to be considered. Pieces and titles of pieces must be appropriate for all ages, and submissions must not be generated by artificial intelligence (AI).
Winners will be selected in three age categories: 6-12 (Kids), 13-18 (Teens), and 19+ (Adults). Writing-related prizes issued in each category include Best in Show and Library Staff Choice.
Judges will be local educators and writers. One entry per person.
