The Book a Local History Librarian service provides up to 1 hour of 1:1 support for assistance locating basic information and/or resources for local history and genealogy research, including library databases and materials.
Please fill out the requested information below and the Local History and Genealogy Librarian will make an effort to respond within 72 hours. Walk-in help will be limited in scope and only available as time allows. In the meantime, be sure to take a look at our Local History/Genealogy page to aid in your research.
Sessions are limited to:
Staff members maintain the authority to take only requests that fit within the scope of service guidelines, their time, and knowledge limits. They are unable to meet multiple requests to reschedule, or extend late or no-show appointments.
Librarians are not able to support complex or extensive research requests or provide medical, legal, or business help. Sessions must only include materials and behavior that fall within the library’s Appropriate Behavior & Expectations Policy.
