Spending $40-$100 on a video game isn’t possible for everyone. That’s where we come in.
Gamers now have a free alternative at the Fond du Lac Public Library – the video game collection. Featuring titles for Xbox One, PS4 and Nintendo Switch, games include popular sports such as NHL 23 and NBA 2K23, iconic franchises such as the Mario series, and exciting fantasy titles on each platform.
Find the collection in the Teen Area at FDLPL’s Main Library.
Library patrons may check out any combination of three board games and video games at a time.
A beginner TTRPG (Tabletop Role-Playing Game) kit is distinct from a board game.
In a TTRPG, players actively create narratives and stories by playing characters within a fictional world, while a board game typically has set rules and objectives. TTRPGs tend to require multiple rule books, dice, figurines, maps, tokens, a screen for the Game Master, and other pieces.
The Fond du Lac Public Library provides beginner TTRPG kits to allow users to try out a game system before deciding to invest in their own intermediate or advanced materials.
