Fond du Lac Public Library employs about 45 people, full-time and part-time. Part-time positions range from 12 to 30 hours per week. The educational requirements for our positions range from less than a high school education to a master’s in Library Science. All of our positions require basic computer literacy and excellent customer service capabilities. Any future openings will be posted in the library and listed on this web page. Library Facility Specialist
Seeking candidates for a full-time Library Facilities Specialist. The position reports directly to the Library Assistant Director and is under general supervision to manage and maintain a safe, clean, and inviting atmosphere of all Library buildings and grounds, whether owned or rented. The Facilities Specialist is responsible for the daily operations of custodial, maintenance, and contracted services, to meet the needs of the Library.
- Schedule: 40 hours/week (Monday – Friday) and other hours as needed to conduct services at the Library
- Minimum training & experience: Minimum Training & Experience: High school diploma or GED; supplemental vocational coursework, licenses, or certificates preferred; valid Wisconsin driver’s license, 3-5 years in building maintenance or custodial work
- Starting wage range: $23.88 – $27.93/hour
