Run Your Own Roleplaying Game!
Join us for a 5-hour intensive learning session and become a confident Dungeon Master/Game Master! We’ll talk about preparing for sessions, how to run a game, and how to improvise when things don’t go to plan. Then, after a lunch break, we’ll try out running sessions ourselves! Lunch is provided and spots are limited! Please fill out a permission form and return it to the Children’s Desk before August 6, or fill out the online form (opens June 1). This event is for teens ONLY.

Monday Night Crafts
Drop by the Teen Space on the first floor for some dedicated craft time, and connect with other teens. We’ll provide all the supplies (and snacks!) This program exclusively for those in grades 6-12, and will to take place from 4:30-5:30 PM on the 2nd and 4th Monday each month. No registration required.

Meet us in the Teen Space on the first floor for a tabletop roleplaying adventure! Bring your own character, choose one of ours, or email teens@fdlpl.org for help building one. If you have a set of dice, bring those too! All experience levels are welcome; geared toward teens in grades 6-12.

Idea Studio TEEN TAKEOVERS
Have you ever walked past the Idea Studio on our Lower Level and wondered what that was all about, but been too shy to ask? You’re in luck! We’re opening the Idea Studio early for an exclusive, teens-only event. Learn about the equipment in the Studio and check out projects you can make anytime the space is open, from 3-D printing, sublimating your own custom bookmarks, shrinky dinks, fuse beads, and more! Registration is required and space is limited. Sign up for one of the sessions below:
