Unable to come into the library due to illness, disability, or transportation but still would like to use our services? We have ways for you to use the library without coming in! The Fond du Lac Public Library provides home delivery of materials to patrons who are unable to visit the library in person. Let us bring the books, movies, music, and more to you! We also have book boxes that can be delivered to nursing homes.
The Fond du Lac Public Library coordinates free library delivery service to Fond du Lac residents who are unable to visit the library
due to physical limitations.
Homebound residents are matched with a volunteer by the library’s program coordinator. Homebound persons can select the library materials they want or get help selecting from their volunteer or library staff.
Deliveries are made once or twice a month.
All library materials are available to homebound persons, including large and regular print fiction and nonfiction books, books on CD, DVDs, music CDs, magazines and more.
Fill out the application form & return to the Main Desk. The Homebound Delivery Coordinator will contact you to match you with a volunteer.
If you are interested in volunteering for Homebound, fill out our volunteer application form. When it asks for your volunteer preference, select “Homebound”
