Summer Reading
Start earning prizes this summer by signing up for
Summer Reading at the Fond du Lac Public Library!

The Fond du Lac Public Library invites users of all ages to “Unearth a Story,” the theme of Summer Reading @ FDLPL 2026. From June 1 to Aug. 16, kids, teens, and adults may read books to earn prizes and have a little fun.
Returning for 2026 is an online logging option. Use the Fond du Lac Public Library’s online portal, Beanstack, to record your minutes of reading.
Not sure if you have a Beanstack account already? Library staff can help!
Prefer to record minutes on paper? Stop by the Fond du Lac Public Library, at either the Main Library downtown or the Allen J. Buechel Branch on the east side, to get a paper card to record your progress.
Whether recording on paper or online, participation is easy, and earns participants instant rewards along the way as well as a chance at a grand prize at the end of the summer. All reading counts, and reading aloud counts for both the reader and the listener.
Be sure to keep logging those minutes all summer!
Events will be scheduled all summer long for all ages. To find an event that will be just right for you, visit our online calendar.
Do you have a child who would like a free ride to the Fond du Lac Public Library this summer? All they need is a library card each Thursday through the summer to ride on Fond du Lac Transit buses to the library.
Design your own bookmark for Summer Reading 2026! Winning designs will be printed and available to the public in September. This contest is for all ages. Learn more by following the link.
